Study Abroad at PCA Students Showcase Work in Seven +/- Two Exhibition

Study Abroad at PCA invites all to attend their exhibition at Le Pavé d'Orsay Gallery. The exhibition, titled Seven +/- Two | An exploration of memory, features work by Timothy Clifford, Molly English, Ekaterina Granova, Cecilia Abeid, Travis Jarrells, Nora Krupitsky, Julia Lamare, Elena Lyons-Dawson and Rebekah Rogers.

Our individual experiences of memory constantly redefines and reaffirms who we are, and in a reciprocal fashion, what time means to us.
Psychologist George Miller's magic number "Seven +/- Two" was an attempt to quantify memory numerically and explain in part how the functions of memory affect our sense of time. In this exhibition, nine artists present their own attempts to make sense of the forever-deepening understanding of memory as an effect of and affect on time.
The nine artists participating in "Seven +/- Two" are from around the world and practice a wide array of disciplines spanning multiple dimensions. They currently live and study in Paris. Their residency has been spent at Paris College of Art located in the 10th arrondissement.
