Welcome to Gleichapel a newly founded experiment since April, 2014. It is a discrete, miniature and independent art platform, out of context and rooted in the middle of the hyper-boutique-gallery-resto-land of the Upper Marais (UM) district in Paris.
It is a window, a vitrine, a transparent glimpse into a "public room" seeking to host and give attention to quality projects and collaborations with and between artists, collectors, curators, or merchants.
Approached also are historically relevant and seminal works of art either under the radar, or on the front lines of creation. A seminal work from an important private collection by Daniel Zeller was the first presentation last May/June 2014.
Gleichapel is viewable daily from midday until late night depending on the season, from the outside looking in. It is a secret and sacred site to approach with discretion at one's leisure. Please check show schedule for more precise hours.
Support Gleichapel, a non-profit venue which relies on sales of the works presented to support the independent programming, to ensure the quality and originality of its presentations and most importantly the artist’s evolving process of creation. Works are available by those artists listed under "artist" heading. Please send an email for further information.
